Youth Summit 2009

On April 16, 2009 the 3rd Annual Youth Summit was held at Glenwood Community Center. In attendance were 8 representatives from each high school in Howard County. They focused on three major issues; Hang Out Places, SGA’s and Food.
The Summit, a collaborative effort of many Howard Community groups, was planned by students from Howard County high schools and adult representatives from the sponsoring organizations.
The goal of the Youth Summit was to hear youth voice and empower young people in Howard County by working with them to take action to improve theses issues.
