Mission Statement:
Voices for Change, a diverse group of youth and adults, empowers young people to take action and create positive change in Howard County.
About Us:
Voices for Change works on issues that affect youth and is responsible for the annual county-wide Youth Summit. Students identify issues that they will be working on throughout the year with the support of adults from many youth serving organizations. All Howard County youth are encouraged to get involved. If you are a student (or know a student) who is interested in making Howard County a better place for youth, in having your voice heard, and developing new skills and interests, the Voices for Change Youth Coalition is for you.
Issues 2011-12:
- Friendship Issues
- Driving Distracted
- Recycling
- County Council Legislation
